SENIOR SECURITY OFFICER

For our client in the Den Bosch region I'm currently looking for a more Senior Security Officer. It's a fully remote position, fulltime. English, German and Italian are considered of added value.


Job description

We are looking for an experienced Security Officer (interim) to support the integration of 2 acquired companies into the security services. In this role you will work closely with stakeholders from the overall integration program and at the same time you will be working the security team, combining both current state and target state from the integration point of view.

Although we expect you to be knowledgeable on all aspects of information security, this role focusses on:

  • Assessing and understanding what risks currently exist within the acquired companies, driving towards decision making on how to respond to identified risks and support the implementation of mitigations.

  • Replacing existing security services in the acquired companies with the security services, within the context of the agreed transactional services agreement.


We are looking for

This position might be for you if you are a hands-on security professional who is passionate about his or her work and takes proactive approach to information security. Furthermore:

  • A strong, demonstrable experience in information security and in working closely with (executive) business stakeholders.

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in Information Science/Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Experienced in security integration projects and/or managing change in the area of information security is preferred.

  • Ability to work in an in an international context, appreciating cultural differences, is considered a key success factor in this role.

  • Strong communication and social skills (in English, German and Italian are considered of added value) with the ability to influence multiple levels within an organization.

  • Ability to see “the big picture”, simultaneously understanding the details and “getting things done”.

  • Willingness to travel if needed.
