SECURITY OFFICER

I´m looking for a experienced Security Officer for our client in the region Den Bosch. It´s a fulltime job, 32 hours is also possible. You will work mostly remote with some days at office on need basis (workshops, meetings).

Are you a hands-on security professional who is passionate about your work and takes a proactive approach to information security? This position might be for you. You will be a member of the clients security team where you will be focusing Business Continuity Management, Security Incident Management and Crisis Management. These are distinct areas within the scope of information security that we want to further improve on and you will be leading that effort.

As Security Officer you will manage and implement various security services provided by the the clients security team. You will work closely with stakeholders across organization to drive an effective implementation of applicable security services throughout the organization. As a member of the Global Security Team you will also contribute to the overall information security roadmap and ensure regular reporting of information security metrics. You chair meetings with other members of the information security community in your focus area to ensure close co-operation across the organization.


The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications / experience

  • A strong, demonstrable experience in information security and in particular Information Business Continuity Management, Security Incident Management and Crisis Management.

  • A Bachelor degree in Information Science/Technology, Computer Science or a related field, a Master degree in Computer Science or Business Information Management

  • Knowledge of ISO27001 framework and ISO27002 best practices

  • Strong communication and social skills with ability to adjust your message to the audience from top executives to development teams

  • Strong business-focused and collaborative thinking

  • Ability to see “the big picture”, simultaneously understanding the details and “getting things done”.

  • Experienced with working with external suppliers; understanding the balance between outsourcing work vs outsourcing accountability.

  • Leadership skills with an ability to influence multiple levels within an organization

  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Experience in working in an international environment
