Introduction to the job


Do you want to shape the future of the Learning & Knowledge management within our client? For our client in Eindhoven we are looking for a program manager. The project will be for at least two years. The client works the hybrid way (three days on site two days from home). In this role you are responsible for managing the technological infrastructure for Learning & Knowledge Management programs within our client. You are responsible for successfully delivering these required technological infrastructure that act as an enabler for our client’s growth and the development of our people. You will play a crucial role in delivering the future-proof infrastructure that is seamlessly connected. Job Mission The Program Manager Learning and Knowledge Management Infrastructure is the liaison between our clients Academy, IT and the business. You will design and deliver the programs for creating a global learning & knowledge management ecosystem. You have advanced project management skills and a demonstrated track record in delivering business value in a complex environment.


Role and responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of high-quality end-to-end Learning & Knowledge management solutions within specified timelines.

  • Responsible for a seamless employee experience and user journey across multiple platforms.

  • Responsible for high quality delivery of technology solutions for all employees of our clients.

  • Responsible for adapting delivery to constant changing environment and needs. Safeguarding the “time to market” of features and capabilities that add business value.

  • Responsible for driving the Agile delivery of user stories in sprint cadence in accordance with agile practices.

  • Drives design decisions on technology infrastructure with user experience in mind.

  • Pro-actively invests in building and maintain relationships outside the company (partners, suppliers, reference customers) to harness best practices from outside in perspective.

  • Mandated to approve / disapprove features and capabilities.

  • Liaise with Center of Expertise leads, Academy leads and sector representatives on the Learning and Infrastructure technology roadmap.

  • Responsible for RFI/RFP selection processes for platform providers that integrate into the current ecosystem.

  • Responsible for the delivery of a future proof Learning & Knowledge management ecosystem that supports the growth of our client.

  • Supports in vendor management (existing and new).


Education and experience


We are looking for a candidate that has a demonstrated track record in designing and delivering relevant business solutions at the forefront of learning and knowledge management technology. Relevant experience in this field is more important than education. Preferably you have an academic background in learning, knowledge management, project management and/or HR related studies.


Must: minimum of 8 years of practical experience as a program manager in an international setting. 8+ years of experience consulting with senior leaders and stakeholders, with a proven track record of being a trusted partner. Experience in running Infrastructure projects; designing and delivering Learning & Knowledge management (platform) solutions. Advanced presentation skills and flexibility to adapt content and conversations to meet the needs of your audience. Advanced stakeholder management skills (both c-level and operational) Experience in linking key business challenges to learning capabilities and organizational effectiveness needs and translate this into change and development initiatives. Preferred: Experience with, and knowledge of LMS (Cornerstone) and LXP (EdCast) learning platform solutions. Familiar with Agile SAFE and Scrum methodology
